Inventory & Fulfillment Management
Real-time stock synchronization and automated order fulfillment across all channels.
Contact UsWhat Is the Inventory & Fulfillment Management Module?
The Inventory & Fulfillment Management module provides retailers with a unified stock management layer that keeps inventory accurate and synchronized across all sales channels in real time — and automates the order fulfillment process from receipt to delivery.
When a customer buys online while another shops in-store, the module ensures both transactions draw from the same accurate inventory pool. Overselling, phantom inventory, and manual stock count reconciliation are eliminated by design.
Core Capabilities
Real-Time Inventory Synchronization
Every sale, return, and stock receipt updates inventory counts instantly across all channels. Whether the transaction occurs on the website, mobile app, POS, or a marketplace, the same real-time inventory pool is updated simultaneously.
- Sub-second inventory updates across all connected channels
- Reserved inventory management: items in cart don't oversell
- In-transit stock visibility: purchase orders and incoming shipments tracked
- Shrinkage tracking: damaged, lost, and counted-out inventory recorded
- Cycle count workflow: partial inventory counts without full operation stop
Automated Reorder & Procurement
When stock levels reach configured thresholds, the system generates purchase orders automatically and routes them to the appropriate supplier. Reorder points are calculated per SKU based on sales velocity, lead time, and safety stock configuration.
- SKU-level reorder point and safety stock configuration
- Automatic purchase order generation on threshold breach
- Supplier management: lead times, minimum order quantities, and pricing tiers
- Purchase order approval workflow with budget controls
- Supplier performance tracking: on-time delivery and fill rate analytics
Multi-Warehouse & Location Management
Inventory can be distributed across multiple warehouse locations and physical store back rooms, with centralized visibility and configurable fulfillment routing rules. The system selects the optimal fulfillment source for each order based on proximity, stock level, and shipping cost.
- Centralized inventory view across 10+ warehouse and store locations
- Fulfillment routing rules: nearest location, lowest shipping cost, or priority sequence
- Inter-location transfer orders with tracking and receipt confirmation
- Zone-based stock allocation for channel-specific inventory reserves
- Location performance analytics: throughput, error rate, and picking efficiency
Flexible Fulfillment Models
The module supports multiple fulfillment models simultaneously — ship from warehouse, ship from store, buy online pick up in store (BOPIS), curbside pickup, and dropship. Each order line can be fulfilled from a different source.
- BOPIS with store readiness notification and pickup confirmation
- Ship-from-store: store locations used as distributed fulfillment centers
- Curbside pickup with customer arrival notification workflow
- Dropship routing: orders forwarded directly to supplier for fulfillment
- Split shipment management: multi-source order with unified tracking
